Dear Friends and Painters,

I hope you are well, happy and creative and enjoying the beginning of fall.

My grandchildren came from France to visit this summer and I had the great joy of painting with them. The older one, Nina, who's nine, exclaimed in the middle of one of her paintings: "Painting is my passion! I love to do a lot of things but painting is my passion!" It felt like an amazing echo of my inner voice!

A little while ago Carol, Cathy, Natalia and I came back from our yearly workshop at Esalen; we taught 50 painters in our most spacious and friendly studio right on the coast and had a wonderful and inspiring time. I have been painting a lot this year, but I also found time to finish the long-awaited teaching book: Teachers That Dare. When I was almost done with it, as I was watching people paint in the master class, I felt inspired to make and add quite a few drawings to the manuscript. It was a lot of fun. The result is an easy book to read and work with if you are a teacher or a teacher-to-be or simply want to deepen your understanding of how the process works. I have also started working on a new video that will show the movement of spiritual discovery as the process deepens further. I will be using my own paintings in it. It is such a pleasure to be able to share such intimate work with you all. I expect it to be completed in roughly six months, but you know how hard it is to predict time in a complex project. I now am getting ready to go to San Francisco to teach the Master Class Two in Oct and I look forward to reconnecting with this wonderful group of people coming from all over the world.

Newsletter's content:
1. Announcing a new book and 2 New 2-CD sets!
2. Listing of Workshops & Master Classes — end of 2007 and 2008
